TERMS AND CONDITIONS 
FOR GROUP BOOKINGS OF 4 ROOMS OR MORE

Thank you for choosing to book with The Oyster Smack Inn.  We look forward to welcoming you.  When you make a booking you are entering an agreement with us.  Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.


If you reserve more than 3 rooms on any one or more night(s) this is deemed a group reservation and we require a non refundable £200 deposit for up to 6 rooms and a £400 deposit for 7 or more rooms. All other terms and conditions will apply.

 

Full group booking cancellation – can be made up to 6 month prior to arrival without incurring extra charges. Cancelling some rooms – you can cancel up to 50% of the sum of your original booking (based on total price of original rooms held) without incurring extra charges with 61 days notice (prior to arrival). This does not indicate total number of rooms and will depend on which type of rooms you wish to keep reserved.

 

Should any cancellations occur outside of these dates you liable to pay a full charge – however at the sole discretion of the company, the charge may be waivered only if we are able to re let the cancelled room(s) in part and or completely waivered if the total value of the booking can be replaced in full. All liabilities lay with the individual responsible for booking the group stay. A full payment for all rooms is required at least 31 days prior to check in. Any outstanding balance will be invoiced and charged.  All cancellations must be made in writing, by letter or email.

 

By booking a room you are agreeing to the terms and conditions. As booker you are taking full financial responsibility for the group booking - however we are happy to contact your guests on your behalf to collect payments individually via the allocation sheet.
 

Check-in is from 2pm onwards and check-out is at 11am (unless otherwise agreed). Should you require a later check-out time or wish to arrive earlier a £20 fee can be added to your bill, however this is subject to availability. Failure to exit your accommodation prior to agreed check-out time will mean a £20 fee will be added to your final bill
 
At the sole discretion of the company, the charge may be waivered only if we are able to re let the cancelled room(s) in part and WILL be waived in full if the total value of the booking can be replaced in full. We require a valid credit card to secure bookings and reserve the right to charge the card for cancellations falling outside the permitted time scales, as detailed above. By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make the above charges to the card without any consent being required.
 
 Please be aware that all our rooms are non-smoking and there will be a £250 cleaning charge added to your bill if you have been smoking in your room.

 

Any data  recorded for your booking is stored through our Booking software and purged after 3 years past your departure date. As per GDPR compliance you are entitled to request a report on any collected data made for your booking. Our email is used solely for communication with our customers and not for marketing purposed; however should you wish to cut any online communications we can withdraw your email information from our system on request.
