STAY SAFE 

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and associates are of the utmost importance to The Oyster Smack Inn. Below are the precautionary hygiene measures we are implementing as well as steps we are taking to help prevent the spread of COVID19.

Please note: The safety protocols have been developed in accordance with the norms laid down by the World Health Organization (WHO)

 

 HOTEL UPDATES

  - 

CONTACT FREE STAYS 

  • We are now opening some our rooms for booking while providing a contact free service - from booking to check out we are minimising all face to face interaction and maintaining social distancing guidelines.

  • Bookings can be made online with payments are taken remotely and all check in information emailed directly.

  • All keys are disinfected and ready for you to collect on site in a secure and sanitised key box using a code tailored for you to self check-in. 

  • Keys can be left in the same key box for self check-out. 

CLEANLINESS & HYGIENE 

  •  We ensure the highest possible level of cleanliness by using high quality industrial sterilisation and disinfection products

  • The rooms would be quarantined for 48 hours post any checkout. After check-out, all unused amenities will be discarded. Special attention will be given to common touch points like door handles, tea and coffee facilities, furniture.

  • The bed and bath linen will be washed in hot water at over 70 degrees Celsius, to effectively sterilise them, and will be stored, where they would remain untouched.

  • High-touch areas, such as bathrooms, elevator buttons, and remote controls, are disinfected and cleaned frequently.

  • We will be removing non-necessary amenities from the rooms in order to reduce risk of transmission. However, they will be provided on request. 

  • All bathroom fixtures, fittings and walls will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every check out.


HOTEL STAFF 

  • Masks and disposable gloves are being worn by all staff members and changed frequently.

  • Records will be maintained pertaining to the occupation and cleaning of the rooms, as well as the staff responsible for the cleaning.

  • Our teams are regularly being trained on personal hygiene, hand-washing, sanitising, and respiratory etiquette. They will be briefed on taking precautions to keep themselves and others around them safe in the hotel.

  • They are being updated on new directives relayed by the government, and are also being trained to identify guests and/or other employees who may display signs of illness
     

RESTAURANT
 

Following Government Guidelines our restaurant and bar is temporarily closed. While we are keen to open our doors we are prioritising the health and safety of our staff and customers and will be announcing our opening date once we are confident that we have taken all possible measures to provide the best service in the safest and healthiest conditions. We will keep this page updated.
